Eli was brought to the Monastery because he had the Gift. Since he wanted to go back to his family, the Master put him to sleep. Pilgrim succeeded in waking him up. Thus, Eli became one of his followers. He is the only Acolyte to survive the final encounter. In the ruins of the Meridian Chamber, he found a working pistol.
